Markhoff & Mittman’s series of live disability webcasts continues tonight with a special on the two disability programs that the Social Security Administration offers to individuals who are unable to work because of a physical or mental impairment.
Most people think that once they become unable to work as a result of a severe impairment, they should immediately be entitled to disability benefits. But did you know there two distinct programs that offer different benefits? New York disability lawyer Scott Daniels will break down both programs and the eligibility requirements for each.
Before applying for disability benefits, you want to be sure you know what you are entitled to. You also want to be sure that you apply for each program you might be entitled to. Afterall, you definitely do not want to miss out on additional benefits that you and your family might be entitled to!
